Privacy Policy — Smart OryxMix

This Privacy Policy describes how Oryxmix ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Smart OryxMix mobile application ("the app").
Smart OryxMix is an internal operational dashboard for Oryxmix concrete batching plants. It is used by Oryxmix employees and authorized maintenance personnel to monitor plant equipment in real time. It is not a consumer-facing product.
1. What we collect
Account information
- Email address — required to sign in to your account.
- User account identifier (UUID) — generated automatically when your account is created; used internally to associate readings, alerts, and preferences with your user record.
Device identifier for notifications
- Expo push token — a long opaque string issued by Expo (a service operated by 650 Industries) and used to route push notifications to your specific device. We do not collect any other device identifier such as IDFA, IDFV, MAC address, or IMEI.
Operational data
The app reads operational data about Oryxmix batching plants (motor currents, storage tank levels, alerts) from our backend. This data does not identify you personally.
What we do NOT collect
- Your location
- Your contacts
- Your photos, camera, or microphone
- Your browsing history
- Your financial information
- Your health information
- Any data from other apps on your device
- Analytics on your behavior in the app
- Advertising identifiers
We do not display ads. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
2. How we use it

3. Where it lives
- Account data and operational data are stored in Supabase (a managed Postgres database operated by Supabase Inc.). The database resides in the
ap-northeast-2(Seoul) region. - Push notifications are routed via the Expo Push Service (operated by 650 Industries, Inc.) which forwards to Apple Push Notification service (APNs) for iOS devices and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for Android devices.
- We do not use any other third-party processor.
4. Who can see your data
- Other authorized Oryxmix users can see the operational data (plant readings, alerts) — same as today's existing maintenance portal.
- Account-level information (your email, your account UUID, your push token) is visible only to Oryxmix administrators with database access.
- Oryxmix administrators do not share user account data outside Oryxmix.
5. Data retention
- Account data persists for as long as your Oryxmix account is active.
- Push tokens are updated each time you sign in on a device; old tokens are overwritten.
- Operational data (motor readings, alerts) is retained according to Oryxmix's operational record-keeping policies.
6. Your rights
You can:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account.
- Withdraw push notification consent at any time via your device's notification settings.

7. Security
- All connections to the backend use TLS 1.2+.
- Passwords are stored hashed (bcrypt) on the backend.
- Row-level security (RLS) policies on the database ensure each user sees only the data they are authorized to see.
- Access to the production database is restricted to Oryxmix administrators.
8. Children's privacy
The app is intended for use by Oryxmix employees and contractors. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to Oryxmix users via email or in-app notice.
